REFRIGERANT DISTRIBUTOR OF HEAT EXCHANGER FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant distributor of a heat exchanger for an air conditioner for securing stability by eliminating a drift current, and reducing influence affected to a distribution characteristic by an installation angle when an individual difference is caused in the installation angle by a manufacturing variation when installing the refrigerant distributor in the heat exchanger, and even when the drift current is generated by an elbow of a fore current.

SOLUTION: This refrigerant distributor has an inflow pipe 9 and a plurality of outflow pipes 131 and 132 branching off from this inflow pipe 9. The inflow pipe 9 is composed of a smoothing part 101 and a volume part 102 with an inside surface groove having the passage area larger than the smoothing part 101 and having an inside surface groove structure. The drift current is eliminated by the volume part 102 with the inside surface groove having the large passage area, and surface tension by the action with a groove shape is made dominant more than gravity received to a refrigerant by a groove part 11 arranged on an inside surface. Actually, the inflow pipe 9 having an optimal minimum inner diameter Dmin and the groove part 11 having a maximum groove width Wmax are constituted according to the installation angleθof the refrigerant distributor.
