<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulosic powder-containing extruded profile which can be easily grain-patterned by a simple surface finishing such as sanding with a design-rich appearance and a method for manufacturing the cellulosic powder-containing extruded profile with high productivity and at a low manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulosic powder, a resin and, if necessary, another additive are mixed and/or kneaded and thereby, two different kinds of materials with different viscosity during molding are prepared. Then the surface layer part formed of a relatively low viscosity material during molding and the core part formed of a relatively high viscosity material during molding, are coextruded monolithically. Thus with the described method, the surface layer part containing at least the resin and the cellulosic powder and the core part containing at least the resin and the cellulosic powder and/or an inorganic powder are monolithically extrusion-molded into the cellulosic powder-containing extruded profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
