PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven reading cooking information stored in a commercial USB drive having a large-capacity storage space and a high processing speed without requiring the other recognition device for conveniently and quickly storing and executing various cooking information requested by a user. SOLUTION: This microwave oven includes an interface part interfacing with the USB drive storing the cooking information, a display part displaying the cooking information, a cooking part feeding microwaves used for cooking a cooking object placed inside the microwave oven, a key input part for selecting one or more pieces of cooking information from the cooking information displayed in the display part, and a control part performing control to read the cooking information stored in the USB drive through the interface part for displaying it on the display part and controlling the cooking part according to the cooking information selected via the key input part.
