PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a complete vacuum seal capable of maintaining a high vacuum for a long time for minimizing leakage of air and minimizing gas quantity discharged from the wall of a device. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of a vacuum solar heat collecting device is provided with a process for preparing a casing body 3, which is formed of a metallic material with a linear expansion coefficient higher than that of glass and has a pipe 4 for discharging gas, a heat absorbing plate 5 housed inside the casing body 3, a windowpane 6 fitted to the casing body 5, and an adhesion metal 8 arranged on the end face of the windowpane 6, a process for housing the casing body 3 and the windowpane 6 inside a main body 1 of a vacuum furnace, evacuating the vacuum furnace, and heating it for performing a baking process and melting the adhesion metal 8, a process for hardening the adhesion metal 8 by lowering a temperature of the vacuum furnace by stopping heating while keeping a vacuum inside the vacuum furnace and fastening the adhesion metal 8 by shrinkage force of the casing body 3 for vacuum sealing the casing body 3 and the windowpane 6, and a process for performing vacuum sealing of the pipe 4 by collapsing the pipe 4 while keeping a vacuum of the vacuum furnace.
