PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type stroller reduced in total weight and excellent in a body supporting property. SOLUTION: The folding type stroller comprises a chair body 1, a self-standing and movable traveling body 3, and a frame member 2 to support the traveling body 3 and the chair body 1 in an assembled manner. The chair body 1 is formed of a flexible sheet member in a bucket shape, the upper side 13 and the lower side 14 thereof are supported by shape-keeping cores 26a and 21a, and the shape-keeping core 26a of the upper side 13 is curved so that the center thereof is retracted backwardly. Further, the upper side 13 of the chair body 1 is fixed to the shape-keeping core 26a of a back rest frame 26, and the back rest frame 26 is totally movable and tiltably supported so that the tilting angle of the back rest surface 10B of the chair body 1 is adjustable.
