PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of an elastic crawler by enhancing a break-resistant property and a water-proof property of the central thin part of a crawler body in the elastic crawler with a core bar and a lug provided at corresponding positions. SOLUTION: The elastic crawler is provided with a crawler body 2 comprising a rubber-like elastic body formed such that a plurality of engagement holes 3 penetrating in front/back directions are aligned in a peripheral direction at a constant interval; a core bar 4 lengthy in a cross direction buried at a part positioned between the respective engagement holes 3 in the crawler body 2; and lugs 8, 8 integrally formed at parts corresponding to both wings 6, 6 in the cross direction of the core bar 4 on the outer peripheral surface of the crawler body 2. A reinforcement layer 14 is buried at a part corresponding to a central part in the cross direction of the core bar 4 in the crawler body 2 and both ends in the cross direction of the reinforcement layer 14 is extended such that they are intruded to formation areas of the right and left lugs 8, 8.
