PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer capable of improving the printing quality. SOLUTION: A space B of a part 15f for holding a chassis 2 of a mounting part 15e at the side of a rotation stopper part 15b of a bearing 15 is formed larger than a space C of a part 15d for holding the chassis 2 of a mounting part 15c at the opposite side to the rotation stopper part 15b so that the bearing 15 can tilt within a plane nearly parallel to a paper face. One compression spring 16 is further incorporated inside a gear 10 for pressing two bearings 15 in a direction to tilt the bearings 15 with respect to the chassis 2 so as to eliminate rattling between a shaft part 8a of a feed roller 8 and a bearing part 15a of the bearing 15. In a state with the bearing 15 tilting to the chassis 2, the bearing 15 is bonded to the chassis 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
