PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant discharging device which always pours coolant on a proper portion of a workpiece corresponding to a change of the shape of a grinding wheel and various kinds of shapes of the workpiece. SOLUTION: This coolant discharging device 20 for a cylindrical grinding machine is mounted on a wheel spindle stock 10 of the cylindrical grinding machine to pour the coolant on the workpiece W. The device 20 is provided with a nozzle part 23 having a discharge port to discharge the coolant, provided to be movable in an opposite direction of the grinding wheel T and the workpiece W, energized to the workpiece W side, and pushed to the grinding wheel T side by abutting on the workpiece W.
