PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste disposal equipment which automatically separates resin bottles such as PET bottle from waste cans inserted thereto. SOLUTION: The waste disposal equipment 1 treating the waste such as waste cans or resin bottles is provided with a means 3 for heating the waste inserted from a waste inserting port 2, a flapper 6 which is disposed on the lower side of the heating means 3, temporarily restrains the waste W and has a center port 6a with a diameter smaller than the diameter of the resin bottle W before heat shrinkage and larger than that after the heat shrinkage and a sensor 4 for detecting the waste W in the heating means 3. Therein, the sensor detects that the resin bottle shrinks during the heating in the prescribed time, falls from the center port 6b of the flapper 6 and the metallic waste can does not fall.
