A pharmaceutical composition and health care food comprising Bando Deep Ocean Water", as used herein, means deep ocean like water drawn up from the underground at the depth ranging from 700 to 1000 m near Korean seashore region, contain not only inorganic component such as Na, Ca, Mg and K but also metal ion such as Se and Zn and have potent glucose-lowering activity which can be useful for the prevention and treatment of diabetes mellitus. |
