METAL- OR RESIN-UNITED GASKET

A metal- or resin-united gasket which comprises a metal sheet or resin plate and, disposed on at least one side thereof, a cured layer of a composition comprising as essential ingredients (A) an acrylic polymer having at least one alkenyl group capable of undergoing a hydrosilylation reaction, (B) a compound having a hydrosilyl group, and (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst. This metal- or resin-united gasket is excellent in heat resistance and oil resistance and is environmentally less harmful because it can be produced without using any organic solvent. It is hence suitable for use as a cylinder head for automotive engines, oil pan for engines, intake/exhaust manifold gasket for engines, etc.
