<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a control valve by forming in such a structure that both a flow control function and a closing function are incorporated in one control valve. <P>SOLUTION: This control valve 30 comprises a tubular housing H having a through-hole Ha for passing fluid therein, a connection member 36a axially reciprocating in the through-hole Ha, and a drive device 37 driving the connection member 36a. First and second valve seats 38a and 39a are provided at one end and the other end of the connection member 36a, and first and second valve elements 38b and 39b opposed to the first and second valve seats 38a and 39a are installed at one end and the other end of the through-hole Ha. The first valve element 38b is moved to a position where closely contacted with the first valve seat 38a by longitudinally moving the connection member 36a by the drive device 37 so as to close the through-hole Ha, and the relative position of the second valve element 39b is adjusted by moving the second valve element 39b to regulate a flow rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
