<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator excellent in a molding property, electric property and mechanical property, with few ionic impurities, capable of obtaining a stable power generating property for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the fuel cell separator is characterized by applying a heat treatment at 300 to 800°C to the molded substance for the separator composed of a conductive molding material containing thermosetting resin and a conductive carbonaceous material as essential components.
