<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an extract derived from Pueraria mirifica, Butea superba, and/or Mucuna collettii, to provide a method for extracting the same, to provide a food product, a beverage product, a pharmaceutical and/or a cosmetic containing the extract as an active ingredient, and to provide a method for producing them. <P>SOLUTION: The extract derived from the Pueraria mirifica, the Butea superba, and/or the Mucuna collettii is produced by chemically extracting it from tubers, roots, stems, leaves, and/or tissue-cultured calluses of the Pueraria mirifica, the Butea superba, and/or the Mucuna collettii by using water, an organic solvent or a mixture thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
