<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe having a finger rest which is locked to a syringe body to prevent the finger rest from coming off during use, in particular, to provide a prefilled one-time-use syringe. <P>SOLUTION: The syringe, in particular, the prefilled disposable syringe has the syringe body which is provided with a storage chamber for a liquid to be injected, and a piston with a piston rod slidable within the storage chamber. The syringe body has the finger rest and a stop member for limiting the axial movement of the finger rest at one end, and the finger rest is in one-piece with the stop member having at least one projecting element extending inside the syringe body. The syringe body of the syringe is provided with a flange part extending radially outward, which is formed for form-fitting or force-locking engagement with at least one catch region provided on the finger rest to hold the finger rest securely on the syringe body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
