<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system and method capable of effectively utilizing a patient registration card by giving a patient guide information for guiding his or her movement in a hospital by using the patient registration card constituted of a heat reversible card. <P>SOLUTION: A guide information preparing part 15 retrieves a position information storage part 13 based on destination information to read out location information 53 being the destination of a patient, and retrieves a destination guide information storing part 14 based on current location information and destination information to read out destination guide information 54 from the current location to the destination, and transmits the read location information 53 and destination guide information 54 to an accepting terminal 2 as guide information. The accepting terminal 2 prints the received guide information on a patient registration card 5 by a reader/writer 21, and the patient registration card 5 is printed with the location information 53 indicating the location of the destination and the destination guide information 54 from the current location to the destination as the guide information to the destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
