PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of mounting an interior material for a building which is carried out by using a minimum number of tools, and exhibits excellent mounting accuracy and mounting workability. SOLUTION: An adhesive plate 12 formed of a metal material 11 with a hot-melt adhesive 10 applied to front and rear surfaces of the same is arranged on the front surface of a stud 4. Then, a heating device 8 having an attachment 14 with protrusions 16 attached thereto is operated by electromagnetic induction over the surface of the adhesive plate, and therefore the metal material is heated to melt the hot-melt adhesive applied to the surface thereof, to thereby temporarily fix the adhesive plate 12 to the stud. Thereafter the interior material is arranged on the front of the stud, and the heating device having the attachment detached therefrom is operated over the surface of the interior material, and the metal material is heated to melt the hot-melt adhesive on the surface of the same, to thereby rigidly bond the interior material 6 to the stud 4 via the adhesive plate 12.
