PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for vehicle which can be reliably locked even when a head rest is at any position, prevent careless unlocking, and omit the return of the head rest. SOLUTION: A bearing member 8 comprises a columnar member 18 with an upper end 18a supported by a head rest supporting member 7 and suspended toward a lower end, and a protector which is supported by the lower end of the columnar member 18 and disposed at a position to receive pressure by the back of an occupant in a secondary collision. A locking member 30 to keep the position of the bearing member 8 rotated together with the head rest supporting member 7 by the secondary collision is provided on a seat back frame 5.
