PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recommendation system for an optional article and a method therefor.

SOLUTION: This system comprises a network interface, a processing unit, and an optional transaction unit. The processing unit selects the plurality of candidate optional articles out of the optional articles in the optional transaction unit, based on an investment tendency and a predicted stock trend received from the network interface. Possible earnings of the candidate optional articles under acquisition probability are calculated in the respective proposed optional articles. The processing unit selects the candidate option article of high earnings as the recommended option article under the acquisition probability.
