<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable heat pump type water heater capable of detecting an abnormal condition of equipment without delay. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump type water heater is provided with a heat pump circuit 5 having a compressor 1, a water circuit 8 having a water pump 7, a refrigerant-water heat exchanger 2 for exchanging the heat between the refrigerant of the heat pump circuit 5 and the supplied hot water of the water circuit 8, and a means for detecting clogging of the water circuit 8. With this structure, an abnormal condition of the water circuit 8 can be detected without delay, and a measure for operation stop and generation of abnormal warning is quickly taken, and a heat pump type water heater improved in reliability is thereby provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
