<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make content data easy to read provided as an electronic book. <P>SOLUTION: When a purchase order of an electronic book is accepted from a user, the preference of the user who is the orderer is determined from preliminarily accumulated data. As such data, for example, information related to the categories of ordered electronic books are accumulated by orders. When the preference of the user is determined, content data related to the electronic book ordered by the user are read. When a plurality of content data are read, the sorting thereof is performed according to the preference of the user, and the sorted content data are combined as one electronic book and transmitted to the user.
