<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of automatically clearing a setting instruction on a condition that a user's intention is satisfied more. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with an input means in which the instruction from the user is inputted, a storage means for storing the setting instruction from the user concerning the setting of the image forming apparatus inputted by the input means, an image forming means for forming an image on a recording sheet based on the setting instruction stored in the storage means, an output means for informing the user of information, and a control means for controlling the action of the input means, the storage means, the image forming means and the output means. The control means informs the user of the information inquiring about the propriety of cleaning through the output means as a condition for clearing the setting instruction, and clears the setting instruction when a clearing instruction is inputted from the user through the input means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
