METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING RISK OF HYPERTENSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosing the hereditary risk of hypertension in high accuracy and predictive probability.

SOLUTION: The method for diagnosing the risk of hypertension comprises (i) the step of analyzing two or more polymorphisms selected from four gene polymorphisms recognized to be associated with hypertension, (ii) the step of determining the genotype of a nucleic acid sample based on polymorphism information obtained from the step(i), and (iii) the step of determining the hereditary risk of hypertension based on the thus determined genotype.
