PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire an optimum route for using transportation even when a plurality of stations near home exist.

SOLUTION: A route display system includes: an address to latitude and longitude conversion DB 20 for recording latitude and longitude information in response to address information; a station information DB 30 for recording latitude and longitude information in response to the stations of transportation; a latitude and longitude calculation processing part 11 for searching the DB 20 based on address information of an inputted departure place, so as to obtain latitude and longitude information of the departure place; a near station extraction processing part 12 for retrieving the DB 30 based on obtained latitude and longitude information, so as to extract one or more near stations within a fixed distance range from the departure place; a fare retrieval software processing part 40 for acquiring one or more routes between an inputted destination station and the extracted near stations, so as to display the routes in a display device in ascending order of fare or in ascending order of a required time; and a displaying part 13 for displaying the route between the near stations.
