PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device capable of preventing dark area gradation deterioration and black floating (phenomenon of a black screen observed grayish) even in the extension of exposure time and in a high temperature environment and to provide its signal processing method. SOLUTION: In a single lens reflex digital camera 10, a temperature sensor part 20 checks parameters for clamp determination to an imaging signal and sends the parameters to a system control part 22. The system control part 22 compares exposure time and temperature data which are the parameters for clamp determination with preset thresholds to make a determination, and a timing signal generator 26 is controlled by a control signal 22a in accordance with the determination result, to thereby adjust a clamp pulse 16a to be supplied to a clamp adjustment circuit 16a of a preprocessing part 16, and the clamp adjustment circuit 16a adjusts a clamp to the imaging signal.
