PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hysteresis characteristic setting arrangement having a parts count smaller than that of a logic circuit or a comparator circuit that sets hysteresis characteristics. SOLUTION: The hysteresis characteristic setting arrangement is provided with a resistance voltage-division circuit 20 containing two resistors and a microcomputer 30 containing a first port I1 and a second port I2 as input ports. When an output signal from a low-pass filter circuit 10 is given, the voltage of the output signal is divided by the resistors R1 and R2 and is given to the second port I2. The microcomputer 30 sets hysteresis characteristics in which the lower limit value is the input voltage value corresponding to the threshold voltage of the first port I1, and the upper limit is the input voltage value corresponding to the threshold voltage value of the second port I2 by a specified software processing based on a combination of the Hi or Lo values detected by the respective ports.
