PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device for driving a liquid crystal wherein a layout area and a gate capacitance of a ROM decoder are reduced. SOLUTION: In gate wires 34P arranged in a P-ROM decoder 216P, two each of the opposed gate wires 34P are selected as a pair, which respectively receive a noninverting bit and an inverted bit of a digital signal denoting a gradation level, the width of the gate wire up to each of enhancement transistors 1P is formed a half the gate wire width L on each of the transistors 1P at the inside of each of the gate wires 34P including an upper part of each of depletion transistors 2P (normally in an ON state).
