PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk playback device capable of accurately positioning the rotary shaft of a clamper on the rotary shaft of a turntable without setting any space for compensating for a shift between the rotary shaft of the clamper and the rotary shaft of the turntable. SOLUTION: A clamper 1 penetrates through a clamper holding hole section 22 disposed in a clamper holding section 2 and is tapered. The clamper 1 is provided with at least a clamper C(13) having an outer surface brought into contact with the ridge line of the clamper holding hole section 22, and a clamper B(12) for holding the clamper holding section 2 with the clamper C(13). Holding means are provided in the clampers B(12) and C(13) to hold the clamper holding section 2 therebetween. When the clamper holding section 2 is held, the shift in a horizontal direction between the clamper 1 and a turntable 5 is set toδ<SB>2</SB>.
