摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling sample temperature, which realizes an accurate control of temperature of a sample and can control the sample at a prescribed temperature with minimum amount of refrigerant consumption. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a chamber 3 for storing the sample 100, a heater 18 and a cooler which are disposed in the chamber 3, and a refrigerant transporting pipe 10 which supplies refrigerant to the cooler and exhausts the supplied refrigerant. A refrigerant exhausting device which sucks in the refrigerant and enables to control its exhaust pressure, is connected to the exhaust side of the refrigerant transporting pipe 10. The refrigerant transporting pipe 10 is a double-pipe type composed of an inner pipe 10a and an outer pipe 10b, and the inner pipe 10a is used as a supply channel for supplying the refrigerant to the cooler, and the outer pipe 10b is used as an exhaust channel for exhausting the refrigerant outside which is supplied to the cooler.
