PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a compact and inexpensive electrical catalytic chemical reaction type waste liquid cleaner which can granulate various waste oil such as water-soluble surfactants and water-soluble cutting oils to be coarse products only by catalytic chemical reactions caused by electricity, without using chemicals, and solidify and store garbage, refuse, and chemical reactants in a bag-shaped bag filter made of filter cloth or nonwoven fabric by using heated compressed air. SOLUTION: In the electrical catalytic chemical reaction type waste liquid cleaner, SUS 430, an example of a metal capable of emitting metal cations, or the like is used as an anode in order to cause the catalytic chemical reactions by a direct-current power supply, and causes the chemical reactions in waste liquid in collaboration with active oxygen to change the surfactants etc. to coarsely granulated compounds, which are subjected to primary filtration by the pressure of the heated compressed air in the bag filter. The filtrate is further cleaned by using a special filter consisting of a set of a plurality of thin tubular ceramic filters with a surface thin film. The special filter can make its surface area large even in a small capacity, and its lifetime extension and filtration accuracy can be ensured by back washing and the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
