<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a GUI capable of obtaining intuitive operability at displaying the thumb nail of respective image contents associated with item attributes according to the selective designation of items in a home server. <P>SOLUTION: When a request from a user is issued in the display status of certain image contents, an item icon is displayed in a window R0 at the right side part of a screen. When an item icon is selected, any non-selected item icon is erased, and the selected item icon is moved to a window R3 arranged at the upper right corner of the picture while a visible time is spent, and image contents being displayed are zoomed out in a window R1 at the upper left corner of the screen while the visible time is spent, and each thumb nail associated with the item icon selected outside the range of the respective windows R1 and R3 and noticed information are displayed. Thus, it is possible to realize a convenient home server by making it intuitively recognize the operating condition while making the previous image contents remain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
