<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which can suppress the power consumption of a panel while keeping balance of white color. <P>SOLUTION: One of levels of the binary potential of a video signal supplied to the gate of a transistor controlling a current flowing to a light emitting element and the level of the potential of a power supply line are made different by corresponding colors. Specifically, when the transistor controlling the supply of the current to the light emitting element is a p-channel type, the level of a lower potential supplied to the gate and the level of the potential of the power supply line are made different by colors of corresponding light emitting elements. When the transistor controlling the supply of the current to the light emitting element is an n-channel type, on the other hand, the level of a higher potential supplied to the gate and the level of the potential of the power supply line are made different by colors of corresponding light emitting elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
