PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously manufacture a foamed and vulcanized roll with fine cells at normal pressures without putting restrictions on a main polymer of a constituent compound. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for the roll is equipped with: an extrusion process wherein a first rubber compound A, which contains a foaming agent, and a second rubber compound B, which does not contain the foaming agent, are extruded in a roll shape so that the compound A can serve as an inner layer and so that the compound B can serve as an outer layer; a foaming process wherein the compound A is foamed and vulcanized with the vulcanization of the compound B at the normal pressures; and an elimination process wherein the outer layer, composed of the compound B, is eliminated from the inner layer composed of the compound A.
