PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing toner adaptable also to speed-up of an image forming apparatus after the apparatus is made energy-saving, miniaturized and simplified, excellent in low temperature fixability at high speed, anti-offsetting property and separability after fixation without adversely affecting fluidity, stability of a charged state, durability and productivity and having improved developing property particularly in a highly humid environment. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner includes at least a polyester resin, a polyolefin grafted vinyl resin, a hydrocarbon wax and magnetic iron oxide, and in a test of wettability with a methanol-water mixed solvent measured by transmittance of light with 780 nm wavelength, in the case of 80% transmittance, a concentration of methanol is 45 to 65% by volume, and in the case of 10% transmittance, a concentration of methanol is 45 to 65% by volume.
