PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall preventive stopper capable of easily and simultaneously performing separate operations due to the necessity of operating a fixing device after fixing a door in a sprung-up position by a hand or an instrument. SOLUTION: This fall preventive stopper in an upward swing door has a door holding lever supported at one end to a vehicle frame side and provided with a lock pin on the other end door side; a lock pin guide member provided on the back face of a swing door and having a guide device such as a guide oblong groove for guiding the longitudinal sliding of the lock pin provided at the tip of the door holding lever; and a lock piece provided at the end of the guide oblong groove to energize the lock pin in the locking direction. The lock piece is provided with a tension cord for releasing the lock of the lock pin. The release operation of the lock state of the lock pin by the lock piece and the door closing operation can be performed by pulling the tension cord. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
