PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an optical member and a manufacturing apparatus therefor for appropriately controlling its shape. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for an optical member 10 comprises steps of (A) providing an optical member precursor 10b on a base substrate; and (B) forming the optical member 10 by curing the precursor 10b in a state that the distant pressure of the precursor 10b is lower than the pressure adjacent to the precursor 10b. Alternatively, the manufacturing method comprises a step of (C) forming the optical member 10 by curing the precursor 10b in a state that electrical charge with an opposite polarity to a polarity of a surface of the precursor 10b is existing near the precursor 10b in stead of the step (B).
