PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an embossed resin sheet having an uneven surface including projections having an aspect ratio (height/width) of at least 1 with good dimensional accuracy without lowering processing efficiency. SOLUTION: The mutual arrangement relationship between an embossing roller 1 and a backup roller 2 is set up so that one of the rotational center lines 10 and 20 of the rollers is rotated at a prescribed angleθalong the second plane (B plane) including the rotational center line of the embossing roller crossing at right angles with the first plane (A plane)including both rotational centerlines from a state in which the rotational center lines of the rollers are arranged in parallel to be non-parallel to the first plane.
