PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for a heat developable photosensitive material capable of outputting an image even when development is performed with a developing apparatus in which image processing time is short. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material contains a photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a binder and a non-photosensitive organic silver salt. Image formation is performed in such a way that the photosensitive material is discharged from a heat developing apparatus within 35 sec after stopping heating for heat development.
