摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an estimation method of the introduction oil film thickness for measuring the rolling introduction oil film thickness even in the case of an oil-in-water type lubricating oil such as emulsion, and applicable not only to cold rolling but also to hot rolling. SOLUTION: Concerning a measuring method of the film thickness of a rolling oil introduced between a roll and a material to be rolled at the metal rolling time, this estimation method of the introduction oil film thickness in metal rolling is characterized by rolling by using a rolling oil containing a tracer material stable at a rolling temperature, measuring the quantity of the tracer material adhering to the surface of the material to be rolled after rolling, and determining the film thickness of the introduced rolling oil based on the quantity of the tracer material.
