PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of a dash through hole for an air conditioner formed in a dash panel capable of sealing the dash through hole even if it is difficult to insert a hand into the dash through hole from an inner side of a vehicle room. SOLUTION: An annular fitting channel 15 of seal boots 13 is fitted into the dash through hole 2, and a cooler unit case 4 is assembled at a specified position. Then, a case through hole 6 of the cooler unit case 4 is arranged by opposing to the dash through hole 2, the cooler unit case 4 comes close to the dash panel 1, and a boot part 14 is compressed to seal the surroundings of the case through hole 6 airtightly by a seal plate 16 and foaming packing 17 due to its restoration force, thereby completing sealing of the dash through hole 6. In this way, the dash through hole 6 can be sealed even if a hand does not reach it. Moreover, secure sealing can be performed even if a mounting position of the cooler unit case 4 is slightly deviated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
