The invention relates to a textile machine comprising a plurality of workplaces that are serially disposed next to each other and respectively comprise a reeling device for producing cross-wound spools. Each reeling device is provided with a removable thread guide which is joined to the thread guides of the neighboring workplaces via a thread guide rod that is supported in an axially movable manner within numerous bearing devices and is connected to a thread guide drive unit. The inventive thread guide rod (13) is at least partially made of a magnetized material while the bearing devices (17) are embodied as magnetic bearings.
