<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of the guide rail of a process cartridge by providing constitution that a driving coupling on a main body side gets away when the process cartridge is inserted. <P>SOLUTION: The color image forming apparatus is constituted so that the driving coupling is retreated interlocked with the insertion of the process cartridge 100. Thus, even when the cartridge 100 is inserted, the driving coupling is retreated by an elastic body and the cartridge 100 is safely inserted in a process cartridge inserting stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
