IGNITER FOR INFLATER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an igniter for an inflater and its manufacturing method enabling the secure contact of a heat generation body generating heat by an ignition current with a pyrotechnic material without damaging the heat generation body and the simplification of a manufacturing process.

SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the igniter for the inflater comprises a process for manufacturing pyrotechnic material slurry produced by containing and dispersing a fuel component and an oxidizer component in a solvent, a process for dropping the pyrotechnic material slurry on the heat generation body generating heat by an ignition current of a header member formed like a plate, and a process for drying the dropped pyrotechnic material slurry.
