PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management method and a document management program capable of supporting exchange of an electronic document to be renewed by a plurality of persons and capable of securing originality of the electronic document.

SOLUTION: A management computer 21 receives an electronic document having a digital signature of a contractor A transmitted from a terminal 61, and stores it in a document information memory unit 23, and transmits the electronic document to a terminal 62 to provide it to the contractor A. The management computer 21 renews the electronic document stored in the document memory unit 23 on the basis of an electronic document having a digital signature of a contractor B transmitted from the terminal 62.
