PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity receiver of high reception quality or the diversity receiver of a relatively low cost or small scale considering reception quality. SOLUTION: The whole set of antennas is defined as U. At the time, the feature of main constitution of the diversity receiver 200 is expressed by the following formula (1). That is, in the diversity receiver 200, without using all antennas U=äA<SB>1</SB>, A<SB>2</SB>, A<SB>3</SB>, A<SB>4</SB>} in respective synthesizers 20, AG1 is used in a reception wave synthesis part 1 (synthesizer 1), AG2 is used in a reception wave synthesis part 2 (synthesizer 2) and a diversity processing is performed according to a maximum ratio synthesis method respectively. By sharing the antennas in such a manner, the high reception quality and small-sized device constitution are simultaneously acquired.
