PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bismuth group oxide superconductive wire material capable of improving critical current density (Jc) at a low temperature of the order of 20K. SOLUTION: The reforming method of the bismuth group oxide superconductive wire material is to anneal an oxide superconductive wire material 5 with an oxide superconductor 1 containing a Bi2223 phase as a main component and also a Bi2212 phase coated with a metal coating material 2 composed of a material with silver as a main component in an atmosphere containing oxygen at a temperature range of 300°C or higher and 600°C or lower.
