PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin speaker unit having a damping structure that can prevent the vibration of the speaker unit caused at sounding from being transmitted to other members. SOLUTION: The speaker unit consisting of: a vibration section using a voice coil to drive a speaker; a speaker frame for supporting the vibration section in a suspending state; and a magnetic circuit section fixed to a rear end face of the speaker frame, is characterized in that a weight of almost a disk shape and formed of a nonmagnetic member with a great mass for damping the vibration of the speaker frame is screw-fastened and fixed to the rear end face of the magnetic circuit section.
