PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a security label, having a structure by which a burglar-proof tag can be attached to an article having a flat surface and unauthorized removal of the burglar-proof tag is difficult, without issuing an alarm. SOLUTION: The security label 10 includes a substrate 12 and a conductive layer 14 formed on one surface of the substrate. The conductive layer 14 is formed into a U-shape so that two connector parts 13a and 13b may be connected, and the terminal of the burglar-proof tag is connected to the conductive layer 14 exposed at the connector parts 13a and 13b. The substrate 12 is easily broken by forming a slit 18 in the substrate 12, if the security label 10 is peeled off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
