PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device which surely guides the width direction of a paper sheet with a paper sheet width regulation plate, and stably feeds the paper sheet even whenever many paper sheets such as envelopes or a small amount of paper sheets are set on the paper sheet loading plate. SOLUTION: The paper sheet width regulation plate 3 is equipped with a guide part 2a which holds the side surface of the paper sheet P loaded on the paper sheet loading plate 1 from both sides, and an extension part 2c which is bent and extends from the guide part 2a at a lower position of the paper sheet loading plate 1. It is rotatable with a bent part 2b as a fulcrum and a spring 5 is connected to the undersurface part of a tip 2d of the extension part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
