<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving-gear for an active matrix type light emitting display panel capable of effectively applying a reverse bias voltage through a TFT for driving to a light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element 14 constituting one pixel 10 is lighted and driven by the TFT 11 for control and the TFT 12 for driving. A series circuit of the TFT 12 for driving and the element 14 is connected through switches S1 and S2 to a power source circuit to selected a state that a forward current is supplied to the light emitting element and a state that a reverse bias voltage is applied to the light emitting element. The TFT 12 for driving can be maintained at an on-state when the reverse bias voltage is applied to the element 14 by using the TFTs of the same channel both as the TFT 11 for control and the TFT 12 for driving. As a result, the reverse bias voltage can be effectively applied to the light emitting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
